MT. ARGEUS About: Erciyes is the highest mountain in central Anatolia, with its summit reaching 3,916 metres (12,848 ft). It is considered to be the highest peak of the Anti-Taurus mountain range, a northeastern extension of the Taurus Mountains to the south, and belongs to the Alpide belt in Eurasia. The volcano is heavily eroded, but may have erupted as recently as 253 BC, as may be depicted on Roman era coins.
Day 1: Get classical Cappadocia Tours: Full day touring in Cappadocia: Breakfast and drive to Goreme Valley (Turkish Bizarre Land and Open Air Museum): Then visit to Kaymakli Underground city, where early Christians hide from persecutors to visit and its rock churches and monasteries, decorated with colourful frescoes, Drive to Zelve, Pasa Baglari - Avanos the ancient village and its 'Fairy Chimneys' visit some ancient pottery shop and antiquities. Drive to hotel in Kayseri, dinner and overnight ( L,D)
Day 2 Climb tours to MT Erciyes.: On the way to climb Mt Erciyes. Get Camp and overnight in Camp (B,L,D)
Day 3 Summit: Today we have early depart to peak of Argeus and return back to Kayseri Airport.. (B,L)
